Pope Francis asked the Vatican’s Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development to set up an internet-based platform that would be available to everyone not only to learn about Laudato Si’, but to share information, projects, webinars and experiences with one another around the world. The Platform includes planning guides, a library of resources for practical guidance on ways to take action, ways to connect directly with others who have joined the Platform, and inspiring stories of people who are taking action related to Laudato Si’.
The Laudato Si Action Platform states seven goals of Laudato Si which guide actions:
- Response to the cry of the earth
- Response to the cry of the poor
- Ecological economics
- Adoption of sustainable lifestyles
- Ecological education
- Ecological spirituality
- Community resilience and empowerment
The Laudato Si’ Action Platform is designed for seven sectors – all of whom can join and then share with others in their sector:
- Families
- Parishes and dioceses
- Educational institutions
- Healthcare and healing
- Organizations and groups
- Economic sector
- Religious
In the spirit of Pope Francis, the Platform encourages people to encounter one another and join the Laudato Si’ movement to care for our common home and one another.
