Praise Be To You – Educating for Laudato Si’ Initiative

The “Praise Be To You! Educating for Laudato Si’” Initiative, created by the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist, is made possible by a grant provided by the Sisters of St. Francis Sacred Heart Charitable Fund, Denver. We acknowledge with gratitude the Sisters of St. Francis Sacred Heart Province for their generosity in offering funding for this initiative.

In our work with people of all ages and walks of life, we find that many persons have not had the opportunity of working on the land, seeing the cycles of nature through seasons, or simply enjoying and caring for God’s creation. It is our hope that the “Praise Be To You! Educating for Laudato Si'” initiative will be a resource and an inspiration for anyone who desires to experience simple tasks directly with nature. We offer some sample step-by-step learning session guides for teachers, mentors, parents or anyone who can gain from sharing or promoting hands-on, real experiences for youth or adults. We hope to add more experiential learning session guides as time goes on, so check back often for the latest additions.
